Painful?
When the needles are tapped into the skin, normally there is sensation which is similar to your hair pinched out. Some areas could be more sensitive than others. If you don¡¯t want to feel any pain, we can accommodate your request.
Safe?
It is safe. If you have any questions, please give us a call.
Side effects?
Acupuncture: If you consider a few droplets of blood or bruise as side effects, yes. Otherwise, quite rare.
Herbs: In the U.S., herbs are classified as Food Supplement and are not regulated by FDA. However, Chinese herbs could cause serious side effects if not properly prescribed by licensed acupuncturists.

What disease can we treat with TCM?
This is hard to answer. It all depends on your expectation. In general, we deal with non life threatening illnesses. You may refer to ¡°Type of diseases that could be beneficial from acupuncture treatment¡±
But TCM has more than three thousand years of clinical history of its own and much broad range of treatment capacity than proven by western science. However, once again, it is advisable that you contact us and see if we can help you or not.
